Here is what those letters written in the margins of your test essays mean. If you are in my APS/Economics class, the number in the margin is your score (out of 10) for that particular essay. Total score from both essays is circled at the top. Please see me with any questions you have about your essay, especially for pointers on how you can write a better essay next time.

B. Good support of thesis/primary themes
C. Nice organization of ideas
D. Please expand/explain/connect to thesis
E. Needs more specific historical evidence/ideas/examples
F. Organize your ideas more cleanly
G. Circular paragraph/wasting time - try to include a new idea with each sentence
